Yes, I agree that Rosa Parks is an example for all to follow. There are several things that TERFs are twisting.
One, think of it like this. If you go to a Chinese restaurant in a Western country, you'll be asked if you'd like chopsticks or a knife and fork. I tend to use chopsticks, and I remember, when I was in Japan, my homestay mother took a photo of me eating my breakfast and she was amazed that I could eat with chopsticks. If a Westerner can eat with chopsticks, it doesn't mean that they're taking over Asian cultures.
Two, just because a person transitions sex or gender doesn't mean that they have to leave behind all that they had. For example, some Australians, after spending a year in Japan, when they return to Australia, crave a steak. And say a Korean woman marries a US Navy Officer, she might take a hambok or two to the USA with her and wear them at home on special occasions. And there's nothing wrong with that.
What people need to differentiate is, contrary to the rot, and it is rot, from the religious Right, children who go on puberty blockers have loving parents, and there are just as many parents who force their AMAB to play traditional "male" sports to try to knock feminine traits out of them as there are those who accept their kids. I know, my mother sent me to Cubs, and I loathed it, to try to make me more masculine and it failed. There are, however, some transwomen who enjoyed a sport or two that was traditionally played by males and they still wanted to play it post-transition. It is NOT the case that a male says, "I can't do this as a male, so I'll try as a female."
