WHY DINING AT AFRICAN, MIDDLE EASTERN OR ASIAN RESTAURANTS (OR GETTING TAKEAWAY) IS BETTER THAN A COUNTER MARCH.

The right-wing is talking of holding a march on August 31 to supposedly take back Australia, from whom they haven’t said. The left-wing is calling for people to instead show love to the people to whom the right-wing shows hate by supporting their businesses.

Counter marches frequently descend into brawls, arrests and the like and the result is negative. A person who is charged with affray and is brought before the court can lose their job, be fined, have a criminal record and even lose their liberty for a period. By dining at a Middle Eastern restaurant or getting a takeaway, you’re putting money into the pockets of people you love and defend, so they win.

Also, it denies the right-wing the attention that they crave. Right-wing groups, if they tried to prevent people from entering such restaurants, would be the ones charged, and they would make out that they’re the victims. This way, they can’t, and people can see what a minority they really are.
