WHO ARE YOU REALLY ALIGNING WITH?

Unless you haven’t heard the news in the past 24 hours, you’ll have seen that trump has been ordered to pay E. Jean Carroll over $80 million after he unsuccessfully claimed that she defamed him. Unless you’ve been living under a rock or on a desert island cut off from the world for the past decade, you will have also heard that trump both engaged in the vilest misogynistic language about women, and through his action of having a conservative judge in the Supreme Court, overturned Roe vs. Wade.

TERFs claim that transwomen are misogynists and are imposing men’s rights onto women, and in doing so, they are aligning themselves with people who are doing more to trample on women’s rights than transwomen are. Transwomen are seeking to be included as women. Men’s rights activists are not!

If, heaven forbid, trump wins this year’s Presidential Election, he has vowed to overturn trans rights, and he has already overturned women’s reproductive rights. So, if you are a woman who was raped, it is not easy to access abortion in many states, and a greater injustice is that the evil trump believes that women and their doctors should be punished for having or performing abortions! I have long said that men should not be making decisions about women’s health, and something that the TERFs are forgetting is that while transwomen want access to women’s spaces, as women, they are not the ones trying to stop women from having abortions.

Furthermore, they are failing to understand that sex offenders who ask to be put into women’s prisons have emerged AFTER being arrested and charged and even convicted, not before! And the number of transwomen serving sentences in women’s prisons as sex offenders, out of over 48,000 in the UK is less than 100! And the vast majority of transwomen in women’s prisons are not violent offenders.

Out of entitled males who believe they can control women’s bodies and women’s reproductive rights and women’s health and transwomen who want access to women’s spaces as women, I know who I would choose to align myself with.
