Well, it's not just confined to movies and romance novels where the plot is that 48-year-old woman attends 30-year school reunion, having married and divorced dickhead who treated her like crap and realizes that the 48-year-old man whom everybody put down as "a nerd", "a p-word for homosexual," and so on, is single and actually has a kind, beautiful soul, and she falls in love with him and they get married. That does happen in real life. I'm not married, but I did go to a school reunion last year, and I've had women I went to school with say that I was a lovely soul at school and still am, and that the guys who used to bully me in school were actually assholes!
