This is how I describe being a Malaysian. Malaysians can be Indian, Chinese, Malay (or a mixture of a few). Malaysians can be Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, or a few religions. A Malaysian who I think a lot of is Amber Chia. Many Malaysians are multi-lingual, and interestingly, unlike Singapore, which became a Republic, Malaysia exchanged the hereditary British monarch for an elected monarch who serves a term as a King, and then another is elected from another territory. I know that a Malaysian can be honoured with the title Dato, from the Sultan. Like Dato Jimmy Choo or Dato Winnie Loo. And, I've found two cold places in Malaysia. It gets cold at the top of Mt Kinabalu and in the Genting Highlands.
