There was a white male American who was a Professor of Law at an Australian university who was just as racist. His name is Andrew Fraser. Andrew Fraser claimed that Africans were behind because they hadn't invented the wheel. Such an argument is preposterously stupid and for several reasons. Many inventions that have not come from Western Societies have been ridiculed by them. I don't know how many people know this, but China was the first country to use not just paper to paint on with brushes but as toilet paper. The Chinese junk (ship) was more practical than a Western one.

Some civilisations did not use the wheel not because they were behind but because they did not need it. And let's not forget that in Ancient Rome people used to brush their teeth with the pulverised heads of rats and mice!
