The term "straight acting" is problematic as it suggests that gay men must conform to a particular ideal. Not every gay man is as camp as Mr. Humphries from Are You Being Served? and he was actually seen as being insulting to gay men by some. I remember reading about a gay tow truck driver who was subjected to harassment by work colleagues, and I doubt that he'd have been camp.
