The same can be said for felines and autistic people. People are complex because they communicate in differences in the one language. For example, if you invite a friend to catch up with you, but somebody else invites them to do something else that they'd prefer, they might tell you they're sick. If you are the type of autistic friend I am, you'd arrive at their house with a pot of soup and offer to feed their cat, but if you get there and they're fine and looking to go out with someone else, you get hurt.

Why I like cats best is that with a cat, so long as it's got somewhere to sleep, food to eat, water to drink and company when they want it, they're happy. I remember, with my cat, Nutsy, he'd come into my room and jump on my bed and sleep with me, or he'd jump up onto my lap and put his head against my neck when I was upset.

As well as a cat, I can relate to a car, in that the temperature gauge tells you how hot it is, the petrol gauge how much fuel, and a light comes on on the dashboard if the charging system has a problem.
