What my mother ignored is that both the Chinese doctor I saw who wasn't very good and the one I see who is excellent is that they were both educated in Australia and both at the University of Queensland. The one who wasn't very good was more interested in patient turnover than patient outcomes, while the one who's very good is the opposite.

I am vehemently opposed to the dog eat dog philosophy of right-wing politics and am against war, but I am of the belief that if you don't have shared opinions and values, you're not going to be friends, and that's okay. But you can disagree without making enemies.

I believe in making sure there's enough of everything for everyone who needs it and I also believe that one person should not have everything while someone else has nothing.
