Some people on twitter have attacked Owen Jones because he dared make comparisons with TERFs and the KKK. Okay, granted, the KKK were bands of violent, racist thugs who dressed in white hoods and gowns (one pooh bar would wear red) because they wanted to be in secret so that it was harder to identify them and they probably didn't want the town to know that the coward who dressed in a white hood and gown at meetings was the friendly neighborhood baker! But the point is, the KKK was NOT a feminist organization, but its motives regarding women were that they didn't want white women mixing or having sex with black or Asian men. Some of today's white supremacists might fetishize Asian women, but NOT because they make an exception, but because they believe that women should be submissive, and they believe the trope that Asian women are submissive!

The comparison is also legitimate in that TERFs don't want transwomen in their spaces. They are cherry-picking extreme examples, yet the number of transwomen who sexually violate ciswomen is low.
