Some Conservative Christians who bang on about hair length of boys and men need to understand that Jesus Christ wasn't clean-shaven with a short back and sides. Despite depictions, Jesus Christ had long, curly, black hair and a scraggly black beard, olive skin and was most probably short, unless, of course, he was tall like Saddam Hussein. The depictions of Jesus looking like the singer of Big Mountain came along later.
