My Year Seven teacher, if someone denied they were talking when they were, would say, "Oh, your mouth was opening and closing and sound was coming out, but you weren't talking? Kindest apologies." There are plenty of people who, if the older man had stopped and watched them in awe and asked what they were doing would have replied, "What does it look like?" or, "Well, that's a hammock and they're two trees. And as I've got the rope from a hammock in my hand and I'm near a tree, what else would I be doing?"

There are plenty of other people who would have replied to the older man, "Really? I didn't know that until you told me."
