My grandfather, who had no racial prejudice (he was in Darwin and got hit in the head with a piece of shrapnel from a Japanese bomb but wasn't anti-Japanese) used to say, "If someone's going to be bad, they're going to be bad. It doesn't matter what colour their skin is, where they were born or whatever." And he was right.
