My advice to any single woman (or man) is to reword the third verse to the Fine Young Cannibals "She Drives Me Crazy."
Original: "I won't make it,
On my own,
No one likes,
To be alone."
To: "I can make it,
On my own,
It's okay,
To be alone."
And yes, the relationships that you form when happily single tend to be healthier because you have a true sense of self. If you set out to form a relationship, you could end up sacrificing yourself to please someone else.
I say, if I wanted a girlfriend, she would have to be autistic, because an autistic woman would have her interests and I mine, and we could co-exist as more of two people who share a house but have intimacy.
