MISOGYNISTS BE QUIET!

When Michelle Obama was photographed wearing a sleeveless dress, the media and the fashion police lost their minds on par with the horror they did when Barbara Eden’s Jeannie costume revealed her navel. Today, I saw an article that seemed to express similar horror and found it necessary to comment that Malia and Sasha Obama attended a party held by Drake in tops that bared their tummies!

It is said that in 2016, the USA chose to believe the worst rumours about a woman and ignore the worst facts about a man. I remember when I went to Japan, when I was 21, one of the Americans on that trip grabbed hold of the bus microphone and told a misogynistic joke about that woman, confusing the first pitch in a baseball game with a female dog, and another about how that woman would still be the President of the USA if she was married to the gasfitter that she was talking to. Probably the only thing that has spared that woman is the fact that she is white.

Why does the media feel the need to comment on the fact that Barack Obama’s adult daughters attended a party hosted by Drake? They weren’t filmed sniffing cocaine or injecting heroin, nor were they underaged and drinking alcohol and nor were they breaking any laws. The only thing they were doing was baring some abdominal skin, and the media chose to take heaps of photographs and comment.

Fashion policing should be passe by 2023! A woman of any age should be able to wear six things, Whatever the Hell She Wants To. Unless they were modelling, it should have rated little more than a footnote! So, misogynists and fashion police, be quiet!
