Like you, I have always been a sensitive being. I remember, when I was two, on Philip Island, crying for a penguin with a sore foot, and crying for penguins after a busload of tourists had been told not to poke sticks or umbrellas down the holes or shine flashlights into the holes, but they did it.

I remember, when I was in Year Eight, I had to do a drama skit in English with three boys, two of whom I did not get along with, and we had to follow a theme. One of the boys said, "We could do War, and I'm a General." He wanted a dominant role. I wanted to do peace, but most people chose cruelty. And, of course, I had to be the victim of the cruelty.

What the TERFs are doing is the same as say a Korean diesel mechanic comes to Australia, and a remote town needs diesel mechanic and they need a job. The town is grateful to have a diesel mechanic but rather than saying, "That's Min, and he's our diesel mechanic," they say, "Our diesel mechanic is some Korean guy."
