Jesse Kelly is 100% WRONG and demonstrates an ignorance of history. World War One ended with the Armistice of November 11, 1918, and the following year, at the Versailles Peace Conference, Germany was forced to sign the diktat or the War Guilt Clause, and to accept an indemnity bill that would have taken until 1988 to pay off. Not only that, Germany was humiliated with the loss of its Empire (territories to the north of the Equator in the Pacific, such as the Marianas, Caroline and Marshall Islands, were given to Japan, and so was the German Sphere of Influence in China. German New Guinea was given to Australia.

The success of the Nazis was multicausal, not with Germans panicking about transgenders and homosexuals, but, by these issues. Hitler was able to tap into a fear of socialism and communism, particularly amongst small artisans and shopkeepers. From unification in 1871, Germany had been accustomed to charismatic, autocratic leaders, like Bismarck and Kaiser Wilhelm the Second, and was unaccustomed to forced democratisation. The Great Depression of 1929 saw many people turn to Hitler. What needs to be remembered, also, is, the Nazi Party didn't suddenly emerge in the German Bundestag in 1933; the Nazi Party had a majority of seats in the Bundestag from 1925, but not enough to govern in its own right. It had to be in coalition. It was after Hitler came to power that things changed.
