INCELS, MRAs AND TRANSWOMEN. CHALK AND CHEESE.

TERFs or TERDs need a reality check. Comparing transwomen to Incels and MRAs is akin to comparing a Nissan Micra to a Toyota Land Cruiser because they’re cars.

Incels, or involuntarily celibate males, are typically males who cannot attract or maintain relationships with women. The stereotypical incel is someone who is grossly overweight and with a poor dress sense and a poor diet and poor personal hygiene. That is perhaps the more benign representation, as some incels are violent and believe that women should be submissive and obedient to men. Some have even gone so far as to rape and murder women.

MRAs or Men’s Rights Activists, are typically men who believe that they are entitled to things. For example, if their marriage breaks down and they have kids, that they should be entitled to impose their demands that should be met without question. They typically complain that Family Courts are biased against males (if there’s violence involved, the court may not allow the man custody of the children, but it also takes into account the type of life the man lives, if he works, and if so, what hours he keeps, does he go away a lot for work, and the rest).

Transwomen, on the other hand, were assigned male at birth, yet they have never gelled with being male. A transwoman may have started his life preferring the company of females (then again, almost every little boy in Australia would be considered a transwoman if that was the only criterion) or female activities. Every little boy plays with dolls, it’s HOW he plays with them. A little boy with an Action Man figurine plays with dolls. A little boy who has a girl doll and brushes its hair and dresses it up is different. I was curious about girl things, and I was told that I couldn’t be. I remember a little girl who lived over the back from me, who went to the same kindergarten as me was a playmate.

What transwomen want, typically, is not to mansplain to or dominate women, but to be accepted by women. Supporting trans rights is NOT misogyny in drag, and the number of transwomen who violently assault women is low.

Think about it like this, apart from refugees, why do people emigrate? For a better life and opportunities. I have known Asian immigrants in Western countries who’ve said, “I started school at 7:30 in the morning and didn’t finish until 5:30 in the afternoon. We could be caned for little misdemeanours like talking in class or answering test questions incorrectly. I don’t want that for my kids.” Why do people transition? So that their bodies align with their brains and minds. Yes, some trans folk will struggle but many trans folk are the happiest they’ve ever been.

And let’s not forget something else. Some trans folk are asexual; Incels are involuntarily unable to have the sex they want. Big difference.
