In my native Australia, I felt shivers of revulsion to the pit of my stomach when a Sydney shock jock, who is a right-wing extremist, remarked at a Sydney University Liberal Club Function that our first female Prime Minister's father, "died of shame". What I was even angrier about was the fact that I knew somebody, who claimed to be a friend of that shock jock, who, rather than saying that the shock jock needed to man up and apologize, wrote a letter in support of him and accused the government of trying to silence him! And a disgusting woman agreed with him!

When the most incompetent and most despicable leader's (a man) father died, I said that as much as I hated him, it was not okay to ridicule him or say such hateful things.

Celebrities are human beings, as are politicians. They have feelings. They have thoughts. And what people need to remember is, even if a celebrity can afford Xanax, no amount of wealth makes one immune to health problems, mental or physical!
