I'm sorry, but what you're saying about diet is completely wrong. As an Autistic and proudly so, who also has gastrointestinal issues (gluten and lactose intolerance and IBS), unlike if you started smoking at 16, and at 55 experienced shortness of breath and claudication in your legs, and you doctor said that you needed to quit smoking, and you found that your breathing and circulation improved along with some medication, following a gluten and lactose free diet does NOT make an autistic person no longer autistic! The reason why an autistic person may be less irritable or volatile on a gluten free diet is that they're not in as much pain and discomfort. I would NEVER accept a cure for autism for myself if one became available.
