If I had been AFAB, I don't think I would have wanted to have children. I could just imagine the added discomfort of being pregnant and autistic. The expanding belly, a kicking fetus, having to go to hospital for scans, the cold gel on your belly, the ultrasound wand. The doctor's appointments and having a doctor you don't know that well having their hands on your belly to feel the positioning of your baby. I am an abuse survivor, so being touched by a male is quite triggering.
