If I can start with your last question, I believe that kids should be allowed a cell phone at around 11, on conditions. Those conditions should be, "It's a prepaid, I'll put say $20 on it. And that's all you're getting for 30 days. We'll use it to text you, and you can use it, but if you use it all within 30 days, that's all you're getting until the 30 days are up."

Yes, Jennifer Garner is a public figure, but I believe that celebrities, politicians and the like, if they are out doing everyday tasks, like having a meal with family, are entitled to privacy, and their kids should only be in the spotlight if they want to be.

Rather than limiting a teenager's social media, I think what is needed is a serious discussion about safety and to say that if you use twitter, Instagram or others, that some people you meet on there are NOT your friends.
