I think some people just can't mind their own business. I see it a bit like this, one day, I saw a car the same model as mine but with a different brand of shock absorbers on it (they were bright yellow). If I had gone up to the owner or driver of that car and said, "You should put a set of KYB Shock Absorbers on it," they'd probably say, "Mind your own business." If someone came up to me and said, "You should get Monroe shocks on your car," I would say, "That's your car, and this is my car. You put whatever brand of shocks you want on your car and I'll ask my mechanic to use what I want on mine." The same applies here.
