I saw it written that the fact that Christo-Fascism does not replicate exactly Nazism is the reason why many US citizens cannot see the rise of fascism. The book banning is akin to the bonfires that the Nazis held, and if you substitute Jews with Muslims, Mexicans, LGBTIQA, and you have exactly Nazism.

The issue with banning gender affirming care for trans youth is twofold. One, it will cause increased dysphoria, and two, it will be easier to clock a transgender person who has undergone the puberty of the sex assigned at birth. Much of the faux concern for trans youth is just that. In my native Australia, there is an especially dangerous politician by the name of Hanson, who is also transphobic and wanted to ban gender affirming therapy and have parents who allowed their kids to have it lose custody of their kids.
