I remember, I astounded a Toyota Service Manager once when we were talking about hybrids and she mentioned that the Camry was good. I said that she was lucky that they were just down from a spare parts store as I would want one fitted with KYB Shock Absorbers and those ones were fitted with Monroe. She said, "What? You'd want new shocks even though it was brand new?" I replied, "Well, with that car, the engine's Japanese, and so's the electric motor, but the car's assembled in Melbourne."

For me, a car has to be comfortable, fuel efficient and it has to have some Japanese content. And, that includes at least A SET of KYB shock absorbers, preferably on the rear. If someone offered me a Ford, I would ask, "Has it got a set of KYB Shocks?" And if not, I would get my mechanic to look up the KYB catalogue and say, "Yes, they have shocks for that car. And I can order them in for you." And my mechanic even said, "KYB is what I use."

I'm tall, so I need a car with headroom and lots of it.
