I read something that demonstrated a failure of the US Education System that people could not identify fascism unless it replicated exactly what occurred in Nazi Germany. If we take the January 6 Coup attempt as one example, while it was in the reverse of Hitler coming to power (he tried to seize power in a putsch, in November, 1923, and he was convicted of treason the following year; trump became President in 2017, and when he lost the 2020 Election, lied that it had been stolen and people rioted to overturn the result.

You don't have to have what the Nazis had of trains that led to concentration camps where people were told that they were stopping for a shower, only to have mustard gas coming through the roses, for it to be genocide. Australia practiced genocide, despite John Howard's denials, by giving the First Nations People tuberculosis infested blankets, poisoning waterholes and pushing marriages with Europeans amongst other things.

That despicable being, currently arraigned on 34 charges and a civil rape trial, calling Joe Biden's gender affirming policies cruel is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. States in the USA that are denying gender affirming care to transgender folks under a certain age are cruel.

I see gender affirming care as a bit like a Chinese American. And by that, I mean a person born in America to parents who are second or third generation Americans and the person says, "I am an American." A Chinese person can dye their hair blonde, but they can't change their eye colour, but it's the connection they feel to America that determines whether or not they are American.

What most anti-trans activists don't want to understand is this. Okay, I can only speak for myself, but what us trans folk want is to be able to live our lives without fear of being abused. To say that if a transwoman goes into a female toilet to pee, that if they're not hurting anybody, leave them be. And what they also need to understand is, a trans person is NOT somebody masquerading as somebody else, we are people living as our true selves.
