I have a positive of my own to share. Someone I went to high school with has emerged as non-binary and is wearing what they describe as "gay" glasses (gay as in LGBTIQA, not lame). The other day, they shared that they have bought a pair of women's trousers. That person is also neurodiverse.
I have begun to take further steps to be my non-binary trans-femme self, I bought a pair of pink trunks the other day (I like having the leg coverage), and I bought a pink and white checkered shirt. I already have a few pink shirts and I bought a gold watch. I came out to the nurses at the Day Infusion Centre and one of them said, "We'd still like you if you were purple."
I have been using hair removal cream on my chest and stomach and on my arms and it feels really good.
I will be having a session with a counselling social worker next month, and I have mentioned to my doctor (female) that I would like to transition and I know that she has another trans-femme patient.
She will support me.
