I can speak Japanese and have been to Japan, but whether I was an undiagnosed neurodivergent or not, and despite my only common feature with the Japanese is my brown eyes (I have light brown hair, I'm tall and thin and have fair skin), I did not feel like a foreigner in Japan. The frenetic pace of life in Japan was one thing, but the degree of automation made me feel comfortable.

My car is from Japan (it was built at the Tahara plant of Toyota) and it is a comfort thing for me. Two weeks ago, I had to buy new tyres for my car, and I bought them at a place owned by a fellow neurodivergent who understood why I wanted Japanese tyres, and I now say that I have a car made in the Heisei Era with Reiwa Era tyres.
