I am not directly comparing the Australian and American parties! What I'm saying is that the parties in the two countries have done similar things. The Liberal Party in Australia used to be for the business class and the bourgeousie, but now it attracts tradespeople. The Labor Party grew out of the trade union movement, but many Labor supporters and voters are tertiary-educated professionals.

History should not be kind to trump and his legacy.
