Firstly, I'm glad you've recovered from COVID. That's a really good poem. I had a friend ask for haiku poems about Australia's runner-up for the worst Prime Minister this country had ever had, and I ended up sending him a limerick. He thought it was funny, but it would be hard for me to write a haiku in English because I can speak Japanese and the English haiku, I've seen are translations. It's funny, though, I sometimes go to sing Silent Night in German even though German is not my native language as I can remember the German.
