Agree completely. One thing that I find makes me uncomfortable with middle-aged or elderly men is when they take to referring to a female customer service person as "Love". Okay, I know some middle-aged or older female customer service people will say, "How are you, Love?" to a person regardless of whether or not they're male, female or non-binary, and that's okay. Some might say that's double standards, but I say, "No, from a female, it is being friendly, from a male it's an abuse of power."

We also have to be aware that a young person is more likely to be at the lower level of the pyramid.

I remember being furious with a racist neighbour of mine who was criticising an Asian staff member at a government department, when the Asian staff member was right, as if it was an affront to have that happen in "her country".
